Chemical skin peels are a simple, safe and effective solution for a variety of skin problems. They help to hydrate your skin, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and stimulate your skin to maintain a more even tone. At Gerka Clinic we use the mesoestetic and Skin Tech peels to perform the treatment.
What are chemical skin peels?
A skin peel, or chemical peel, is applied to the skin to improve its appearance. They contain a solution such as glycolic, lactic, mandelic acid, Trichloroacetic acid.
Peels tend to come in three different types – superficial, medium and deep. The type you choose depends on your desired outcome and personal situation. If you’re unsure which skin peel is right for you, we will be happy to undertake a full assessment as part of your initial consultation.
How do chemical skin peels work?
Skin peels are applied to the target area of skin for a short period of time – normally for few minutes – and then removed. During these few minutes, the chemical solution on the peel removes dead skin cells and stimulates the growth of new ones. This process improves the appearance of your skin and corrects imperfections.
Which types of peels do you have available?
We have a large selection of skin peels available that cater for all ages, skin types and skin concerns. The solutions we use include glycolic acid, lactic acid, mandelic acid and trichloroacetic acid (TCA). We will choose the right type of skin peel for you based on the result of your consultation and your desired outcome.

A consultation with Giselle costs €35 and is deductible against a package of treatment. Peels start at 100 euro.
