Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Injections

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Injections can rejuvenate your skin, reduce wrinkles and even your skin tone. The treatment works by injecting PRP into your skin, which accelerates the production of collagen, elastin and new cells. As with many cosmetic treatments, PRP injections simply stimulate the natural processes of your body.

We use the Regen Lab PRP kit to perform the treatment. It is typically pain-free and there is no downtime after the procedure. Before booking we recommend that you first book an initial consultation with us. This costs €20 and will be deducted from the total cost of your PRP treatment.

PRP Injections In Gynaecology

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections are a highly versatile treatment that can be used to treat a variety of aesthetic and gynaecological conditions. In the pelvic floor area they are often used to treat conditions such as vulvodynia, vaginismus, chronic endometritis, vaginal dryness and urinary incontinence. We use the Regen PRP kit to perform this treatment.

If you wish to take up this treatment, we suggest you first book an initial appointment with us. It costs just €20 and will be deducted from the overall cost of the procedure.

What is Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)?

PRP is a substance rich in nutrients, enzymes, cytokines and growth factors. When injected, it stimulates the production of new cells, protein and tissues in your body.

How do the injections work?

The PRP injections work by firstly using a syringe to draw a small amount of blood from the patient. This sample of blood is then put through two centrifuges, which is a piece of equipment that can separate blood into different parts. The first centrifuge filters out the red blood cells, and the second centrifuge filters out platelet-poor plasma. The platelet-rich plasma that remains is then injected into the patient.

What are the benefits of the treatment?

PRP injections have a range of potential benefits and are used to treat a variety of conditions. For your skin, it can reduce the appearance of wrinkles, even your skin tone and tighten loose skin.

PRP can benefit a woman’s intimate area by tightening the skin around it and increasing its sensitivity. It is also commonly used to accelerate recovery from injuries, fight hair loss and combat back pain.
